In continuation of Circular No.MRD/DoP/Cir-05/2009 dated May 20, 2009, directing all transferee(s) to furnish a copy of their PAN Card to the Company/RTA for registration of transfer of shares in physical form, SEBI vide circular no. SEBI/MRD/DoP/SE/RTA/Cir-03/2010 dt. January 07, 2010, has extended the requirement of PAN Card to the following transactions as well:
- Deletion of name of the deceased shareholder, where the shares are held in the joint name
- Transmission of Shares
- Transposition of Shares i.e. change in the order of names
